【背景資料】：The matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) are a family of peptidase enzymes responsible for the degradation of extracellular matrix components, including collagen, gelatin, fibronectin, laminin and proteoglycan. Transcription of MMP genes is differentially activated by phorbol ester, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB). MMP catalysis requires both calcium and zinc. MMP-3, MMP-10, and MMP-11 activates procollagenase.

【應(yīng)用類型】：Western blotting (1-4 μg/ml), immunoprecipitation (10-20 μg/ml), and Immunohistochemistry (15-25 μg/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes MMP3 of human, mouse, and rat origins.
